Sustainability of migratory pastoralism through value addition during Covid-19 pandemic in Kachchh district

This study was conducted among the Maldhari community to understand sustainability of migratory pastoralism during Covid-19. Bhuj and Lakpat Talukas Kachchh district, Gujarat were selected effect profile variables on annual income net families. The revealed that family size taluka significant factors influencing total whereas only factor income. Due reduced sale milk resulting from Covid-19, most converted i khoa generated its major source for Cow dung fetched a minimal price which served as their livelihood with no input cost. value addition better marketing facilities can significantly enhance pastoralists in district.
